Reports in Spain this week have suggested that the forward has decided to stay at the club and is 'banking' on staying at the club. Over the weekend, ESPN Brazil stated that Liverpool had marked the forward as an alternative for Alexander Isak.
Now, AS have claimed that Rodrygo is determined to force his way into Alonso's plans this season meaning a move to the Premier League could be ruled out this summer.
Following the news, Rodrygo has taken to social media to post a series of messages. Starting with a catalogue of pictures from his summer downtime, he put: "Holidays completed. Clear mind and many missions ahead! *eyes emoji* *praise hands emoji*."
The Brazilian then posted on his Instagram story to post two different messages to Real Madrid. The first was one of a view of Madrid from his balcony with the location of Madrid and a white love heart before adding an image of him back at the club's training base alongside the caption: "Volvemos a la oficina," which translates to 'we return to the office'.
On Tuesday, news from Spain claimed that Tottenham have submitted an official bid to Madrid. With Son-Heung min departing, Spurs are looking to replace the forward with Champions League football coming.
Marca have claimed that Thomas Frank's team are awaiting a response from Madrid.
