UPI New Rules: What will change from September 15?
According to the information received about this, the transaction limit of UPI has been increased for some categories by NPCI, the organization that controls UPI. This change has been made only for some special categories. This has been done so that big businessmen can have ease while transacting.
The transaction limit in capital market investment and insurance will be increased from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 5 lakh per payment. At the same time, its maximum limit will be up to Rs 10 lakh in a span of 24 hours.
The limit for the government e-marketplace and tax payment has been increased from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh per transaction.
To make it easier to go home during Diwali, the limit for travel booking will be increased from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh per transaction. In this, the daily limit is going to be up to Rs 10 lakh.
The limit for credit card bill payment will be up to Rs 5 lakh. However, the daily limit will be up to Rs 6 lakh.
At the same time, the per-transaction limit for EMI payment will be up to Rs 5 lakh. In this, the daily limit has been kept at Rs 10 lakh.
Apart from this, the transaction limit for general users is going to remain the same as before.
