Benefits for Employers
Hiring incentive: Benefit of up to ₹ 3,000 per month for every new employee, for a maximum of 2 years.

Manufacturing companies can avail this benefit for up to 4 years.

Recruitment conditions:

-Companies with fewer than 50 employees will have to hire at least 2 new people.

-Companies with 50 or more employees will have to hire at least 5 new people.

What is required for this?

EPFO registration is necessary if you get your first job in the private sector or MSME. For this, the company will register your name and details on the portal. After this, your UAN (Universal Account Number) will be generated and activated. Also, after activation, you will have to complete the face authentication process. Under this scheme, the first installment will come directly to your bank account after 6 months, while the second installment will be transferred on time. The special thing about this is that the companies that provide more jobs will also get subsidies and incentives from the government. This scheme can prove to be a big opportunity for MSMEs and startups to increase investment and employment.

How to get 15,000

To get the benefit of 15,000, register on the government portal, fill in Aadhaar and bank account details, upload appointment letter/offer letter, confirm joining after employer verification; the amount will come to the account. Youth with their first job will get priority, and companies will get incentives.

Duration and timeline of the scheme
This scheme is going to apply to the youth who get jobs between August 1, 2025, and July 31, 2027. The aim of this scheme is not only to provide employment to the youth, but also to make them financially aware.

According to Mansukh Mandavaya, Labor and Employment Minister, first-time users will have to generate a UAN, which will be done on the UMANG App through Face Authentication Technology (FAT).

DETAILS OF SCHEME
This scheme has two parts:

Part A: Incentive for first-time employees

● First-time employees will get an incentive of up to one month's equivalent salary (Basic + DA), up to a maximum of ₹ 15,000. This will be given in two installments.

● Employees whose gross salary is up to ₹ 1 lakh will be eligible.

Part B: Support to Employers
● Under this part, incentives will be given for providing new employment in all sectors, with special focus on the manufacturing sector.
● In this part, incentives of up to ₹3000 per month will be given for every additional employee (first timer or re-joinee). Employees will have to remain on the job for at least 6 months.
● Incentives will be available for 2 years. But in manufacturing sector establishments, it will be given for 4 years.
● Eligibility for this benefit:
➢ Employers who have less than 50 employees → will have to hire at least 2 new employees.
➢ Employers who have 50 or more employees → will have to hire at least 5 new employees.
➢ And these new employees should keep working continuously for at least 6 months, only then will they get the benefit.
● Exempted Establishments will also be included in this scheme. They have to open UAN for all their existing and new employees, which facility is available on UMANG App.
