HPBOSE winter school exam schedule 2025–26 released for Class 3, 5, and 8 with important dates and guidelines

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education ( HPBOSE), Dharamshala, has released the examination schedule for Classes 3, 5, and 8 for winter vacation schools under the 2025–26 academic session. As per the official notification, the exams will be conducted from 9:45 AM to 1:00 PM on the specified dates.

Students will receive the Question and Answer booklets at 9:45 AM, which includes 15 minutes of extra time to read instructions and fill in the necessary information. The examination will commence at 10:00 AM.

Electronic devices such as calculators, mobile phones, pagers, smartwatches, and similar gadgets are strictly prohibited inside the examination centre.

Important instructions for students

• Students must report to the examination centre by 9:45 AM.
  
  
• Question and Answer booklets will be distributed at 9:45 AM.
  
  
• Use the first 15 minutes to read instructions and complete personal details on the answer sheet.
  
  
• The examination will begin at 10:00 AM.
  
  
• It is mandatory to write the correct question number on the answer sheet.
  
  
• For Class 8, subjects marked with an asterisk (*) will have internal exams conducted by the respective schools.
  
  
• The use of calculators, mobile phones, smartwatches, or any other electronic devices is strictly prohibited inside the exam centre.
