The right-handed batter was heard saying, 'Injection liya kya tu' as a video of the same surfaced on social media.

The comment from Gill seemingly came due to wanting to re-introduce the Bihar-born cricketer into the attack. The right-arm seamer had been struggling with some pain on his shin after taking the blow during a drive by one of the England batters.

Akash Deep has gone wicketless in India's second innings
