The story thrusts viewers back to 1960s Hollywood, where washed-up actor Rick Dalton (DiCaprio) and his stunt double Cliff Booth (Pitt) try to reclaim their fame.
On their mission, the duo stumble upon interesting characters that capture the spirit of Hollywood's cinematic Golden Age.

Pitt and DiCaprio are joined by Barbie star Margot Robbie, The Substance actor Margaret Qualley, and Oscar winner Al Pacino, among others.
Considering this acclaimed cast and crew, it's no surprise that Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was a hit.
The dramedy earned 10 Academy Award nominations, including a nod in the Best Picture category. Tarantino was also pegged for the Best Director prize, but he lost to Bong Joon Ho's Parasite.
Elsewhere, Rotten Tomatoes critics gave the comedy an impressive 86% score, with casual audiences awarding it a less generous 70%.
On the movie-rating website, critics raved about the Tarantino film, with one gushing: "It’s an ode to cinema, with all its infinite layers."

A second shared their own verdict, writing: "This 2019 film is almost immaculate in its direction and in its development of characters, but more so in its cinematography and in its acting."
