Manchester United and Barcelona are set to hold off on talks about a permanent deal for Marcus Rashforduntil the end of the season, according to reports. After falling out of favour with Ruben Amorim, Rashford switched to Spain on a season-long loan.
The 27-year-old snubbed other potential moves to join Hansi Flick's side following a brief stint at Aston Villa. Since he arrived at the Nou Camp,Rashford has netted twice and provided two assists in six matches.
Just last week, he bagged a brace of stunning goals to help defeat Newcastle United in the Champions League. Now, Sky Sports reports that Barcelona are delighted with the England star's progress and are 'very enthusiastic' about how well he's adapting to life at the club and in the city.

The report suggests that no discussions regarding a possible transfer have yet occurred. Earlier this week, it was hinted that there might be a discrepancy in valuation with United, but it's thought that this isn't the case, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Rashford's current loan deal includes an option for Barcelona to purchase him for a pre-agreed fee of £26.2million. Before this option is exercised, the striker's development on and off the pitch and the club's financial situation will be considered.
Another factor to consider is Robert Lewandowski's future. The 37-year-old's contract in Spain is due to expire at the end of the season, and Rashford's ability to operate as a No.9 could play a pivotal role in determining the futures of both players.
Rashford has already expressed his desire to remain at the club, stating to TNT Sports: "I'm learning a lot, it's a new style of football," and "But it's making me a better player. Honestly, it's an amazing experience.
"I've always been a huge admirer of Barcelona, every player my age has watched them play, it's amazing football."
When questioned about the duration of his stay in Spain, he responded: "As many [seasons] as possible. We will see.
"I have to focus on trying to do my job and trying to help the team in whichever way I can."
