A furious resident shared how their neighbour "crossed the line" with their car, and how they are powerless to do anything about it. The anonymous member of the public explained they had moved their neighbour's bins to access their driveway. Despite this reasonable act, the neighbour took issue and went to the extreme.
Their action had members of the r/NeighboursfromHell Reddit page warn the resident not to interact with them. Some suggested they "stay away" for as long as they can, while others suggested being more direct with their neighbour as the issue has carried on for "the last few months".
It seems the resident is stuck between a rock and a hard place after reacting to the neighbour's frequent habit and they remain unsure of what to do.

A post to the subreddit reads: "Neighbour put trash on my car. For the last few months one neighbour has left their cans in the way of the driveway.
"Not a huge deal, I've just moved them a few feet back so the driveway can be used. I've done this a couple times and thought nothing of it, until this morning.
"I walked out the door today to find multiple trash bags laid out on the hood and windshield of my car, with that certain neighbours trash can leaning against the bumper of my car.
"Obviously I was p****ed, so I threw the bags on their porch and knocked (loudly) on their door. This neighbour came out and claimed she was totally in the right and I was in the wrong for moving her cans.
"The entire time she was incredibly smug and thought she was in the right. We got in a screaming match that ended in me leaving, calls to the landlord, and her threatening me and my fiancé with calling the cops."
Beyond "getting a dash cam" and contacting their landlord, the resident is at a loss of what to do with themselves after their neighbour made living in the duplex uncomfortable.
Members of the public have suggested keeping well away from their neighbour, but also said getting the police involved as early as possible is a wise move.
One person suggested: "If she’s already escalating to threats and putting garbage on your car, documenting everything and involving the landlord/police early is the safest move. You shouldn’t have to put up with harassment just for wanting access to your own driveway."
Another added: "Stay away from all nutty people. I doubt if the cops will do anything but speak to your community police for advice. Good luck."
A third added: "She sounds fruit loops. Going forward just gently hit her cans (not to damage your car) so you can park. What a scumbag she is."
