Ryder Cup 2025 food and drink prices after eye-watering increase for tickets

The minimum cost of a beer is $15 (£11) at this year's Ryder Cup - but Ryder Cup+ ticket holders can enjoy unlimited free food across the three days in New York.

Considerable attention was drawn to the ticket prices for this year's showpiece at Bethpage, with daily admission setting fans back approximately £550 ($750) - roughly a £370 ($500) increase on Rome tickets in 2023.

To address this concern, organisers announced that food and drink would be included.

This means supporters can help themselves to a non-alcoholic drink, a main dish, and a snack at one of the numerous 'markets' positioned throughout the course.

Amongst the drinks available are water, Pepsi, and Gatorade, reports the Mirror US.

For main courses, there are both hot and cold options available, including ham on ciabatta, vegan salad, breakfast biscuits, Italian sausage, grilled chicken sandwich, all-beef hot dog, and cheeseburger.

It's not the only costly aspect, with Ryder Cup merchandise pricing also being disclosed.

Regarding snacks, supporters can pick up a packet of crisps, a biscuit, or a snack bar. The positive news for fans is they can revisit the markets as frequently as they wish.

The official Ryder Cup website declares, "There is no limit on the number of times a Ryder Cup+ Ticket holder can return to a market. However, to reduce food waste and unauthorized sharing of Ryder Cup+ ticket benefits, any abuse or excessive utilization of the program may result in the suspension or revocation of access, as determined in the PGA's sole discretion."

Booze will be billed separately at the event. A 16-oz can of Michelob Ultra is set to cost £11 ($15), while a larger 25-oz can will set you back $18.

If you fancy a premium beer, it'll cost you an extra dollar. A High Noon Tequila Seltzer is priced at £13 ($16).

For those with more expensive tastes, a bottle of Moet and Chandon Imperial Brut is on offer for £16 ($22), while cocktails are priced between £13 ($17.50) and £14.50 ($19.50). If you're in the mood for an 'All-American Transfusion' - a mix of vodka, grape, ginger, lime, club soda and lime garnish - expect to pay at the higher end of that range.

If you're puzzled by the + sign on the Ryder Cup admission, don't worry; the website clarifies, "All grounds spectators at the 2025 Ryder Cup will be eligible to participate in the Ryder Cup Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverage Program."

Tickets can still be snapped up on StubHub, but they won't come cheap. A three-day pass for Friday through Sunday is currently listed at a staggering £3188 ($4,300), at the time of writing.

The cheapest ticket for Friday is going for £890 ($1200).
