A sex toy was thrown onto the court during the WNBA match between the Indiana Fever and the Los Angeles Sparks, causing the game to be suspended. It ended with the Sparks claiming a 100-91 victory over the Fever, who were missing Caitlin Clark due to a groin injury. However, the game was overshadowed by a truly bizarre incident in the second quarter.

As the halfway point approached, a fan threw a green sex toy onto the court. It took place during a free throw and caused the match to be stopped until the object had been cleared. The incident was captured live on CBS Sports and caught the commentator off-guard as he tried to react to what was happening.

"Something just came onto the floor," he said. "An object just flew in as the free throw is being made. It looked like that hit a player, too."

Replay commentator Morgan Ragan added: "No room for any of that type of activity. And no one's picked the object up yet, you guys."

The incident marked the third time in the space of a week that a sex toy had been thrown onto the court during an WNBA game. It appeared to hit Fever guard Sophie Cunningham, who had already taken to social media to call out those responsible.

Last week, she wrote on X (formerly Twitter): "Stop throwing dildos onto the court... you're going to hurt one of us." After she was targeted during the game against the Sparks, she quoted her previous post and added: "This did NOT age well."
