Prince George's favourite school subject is very apt for a future King

Prince George is currently in his final year at Lambrook School in Berkshire. During his recent interview with Schitt's Creek actor Eugene Levy, as part of the star's Apple TV+ show The Reluctant Traveler, Prince William spoke of his three children - and appeared to reveal an insight into his eldest son's academic interests.

The Prince of Wales showed Eugene around Windsor Castle and as they looked at a "not particularly tall" Henry VIII's armour, William appeared to reveal a subject that George enjoys. The royal joked, "George, my son, is way better in history than I am, and I have to check with him now on my dates."

Although his studies at Lambrook have not been confirmed, it is likely that George will study subjects such as Norman Conquest, the Black Death, and the Reformation, as well as the French Revolutionary Wars and World Wars I and II.

The young royal, who turned 12 earlier this year, is currently second in line to the British throne.

Currently in year eight, George will be transitioning to a senior school in the academic year starting September 2026.

Speaking of George, HELLO!'s Online Royal Correspondent Danielle Stacey recently said: "I think it's fascinating that Prince George appears to have such a keen interest in history, particularly given he will one day be heir and then King.

"Earlier this year, he joined the Prince and Princess of Wales for the veterans' tea party at Buckingham Palace to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day, and we know that the young Prince asked the veterans about their wartime experiences.

"He may also be following in his grandfather, the King's footsteps, as Charles studied History, Archaeology, and Anthropology at Trinity College, Cambridge."

George also appears to take after his mum Princess Kate, who studied Art History at university.

As well as his interest in history, William also previously revealed that George enjoys sports such as football and rugby.
