Police are investigating after a young woman reported being raped in a city centre. Police have released CCTV images of a man they would like to identify in connection with their ongoing investigation.
Avon and Somerset Police said a woman, aged in her mid-20s, was raped in the Easton area of Bristol on Sunday, July 6. The alleged attack took place on Fox Road between 6am and 7am, with investigating officers now keen to hear from the public. They are carrying out CCTV enquiries across the area but are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward.

The man in the released CCTV pictures is described as black, with a shaved head and a trimmed beard. He is pictured wearing white trainers, black trousers, a white top, and a black jacket.
The force is asking anyone who may know him to contact them immediately. Alternatively, anyone who was in the area at the time of the reported rape and has relevant information should also get in touch.
DC Isabel Sayer, officer in the case, said: "This is an awful incident which has caused distress to the victim.
"The incident will come as a concern and we would like to assure the community we have not received any similar reports involving other victims since. Regardless, one incident is too many and a full investigation is underway. The CCTV enquiries we have carried out have resulted in us wishing to identify the man, pictured.

"We are always conscious of the impact publicity of such offences can have on victims, but we've not been able to identify this man ourselves and therefore we now are seeking the public's support because finding out who this man in will help us to progress this investigation."
Avon and Somerset Police added: "Anybody who recognises the man, or who may have dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage at the time of the incident, or in the immediate moments before and afterwards, is asked to contact us on 101 quoting 5225190848, or complete our online appeals form.
"You can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100 per cent anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their Anonymous Online Form. No personal details are taken, information cannot be traced or recorded, and you will not go to court or have to speak to police when contacting Crimestoppers."
