A region of the UK will experience significantly hotter temperatures than the rest of the country, according to the latest weather maps. An Indian Summer happens when temperatures are hotter than usual for that time of the year, immediately following summer. Even after a scorching hot UK summer this year, some people are still praying for hot and sunny weather in their area as they try to get the most out of brighter days before winter truly arrives.
Weather maps show one area of the UK turning a bright orange as temperatures soar past 20C. In fact, some areas around the east coast of England will reach 23C, an attractive number for September. One of those is the popular seaside town of Skegness, which is located along the southern part of the Lincolnshire coast. Skegness has long been a favourite for Brits looking for staycation fun by the sea, and September of this year might be the ideal time to visit.

Weather maps show Skegness and surrounding areas reaching 23C on Tuesday, September 2. Meanwhile, temperatures reach similar heights in the area on September 4 and 6, according to WXCharts.
